Description
This training is designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical, hands-on skills required to respond effectively to workplace medical emergencies. It places strong emphasis on critical life-saving interventions, particularly Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and the safe and effective use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), which are key to improving survival rates during cardiac arrest situations.Participants will be guided on how to recognize and respond to a range of high-risk medical conditions commonly encountered in the workplace, including choking, asthma attacks, heart attacks, severe bleeding, and sudden cardiac arrest. The course highlights the importance of early recognition, rapid decision-making, and immediate action, as these factors significantly influence outcomes in emergency situations.Using a structured and systematic approach based on internationally recognized best practices—such as the DRSABCD protocol and American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines—participants will develop the confidence and competence to assess emergencies, perform high-quality CPR, deliver rescue breaths safely, operate an AED correctly, and manage casualties effectively until professional medical assistance arrives. In addition, the training incorporates realistic workplace scenarios, including industrial and environmental hazards, to ensure that participants can apply their knowledge in a safe and practical manner within their own working environments.By the end of this course, participants will be well-prepared to act decisively, responsibly, and confidently during emergencies, contributing to a safer, more prepared, and responsive workplace culture.
