Description
This course is a practical introduction to C#, built specifically for experienced traders and beginners who want to create their own indicators and trading strategies.
Rather than focusing on abstract theory or generic programming examples, the entire course is structured around real trading use cases. Every concept is explained and immediately applied within TWM, allowing learners to move from an idea to working code.
The course begins by explaining how C#, .NET, and the development environment fit together, and how they connect to TWM. From there, it covers how to set up Visual Studio, open a custom TWM project, and build a first working indicator that outputs directly to the platform.
The course then covers the essential building blocks of C# with a clear trading focus. It explains how to work with variables to store prices and signals, how to structure reusable logic using methods, and how to implement decision-making with operators and conditional statements. It also covers how to manage collections of market data using arrays and lists, and how to process that data efficiently with loops.
As the course progresses, the code is structured using classes to model trading concepts such as positions and risk. Finally, the course explains how to work with dates and times to build time-based trading logic, such as session filters and trade duration tracking.
