Starting with the fundamentals of thermography, this course provides a detailed introduction to the IEC TS 62446-3 technical specification and its application to the thermographic inspection of photovoltaic systems. IEC TS 62446-3 is the key IEC reference for outdoor infrared thermography of PV modules and plants in operation, and it provides a structured framework for the quantitative assessment of thermal anomalies.
